Catalyzing Change: Powering the Movement through Community & Collaboration
In 2022, Women Moving Millions (WMM) launched a Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning Program to better understand impact on membership community and gender-lens philanthropy. Through this program, WMM aims to build knowledge, insights, and best practices to improve community building work, expand influence on the philanthropy sector, and further the mission to catalyze greater resources for a gender equal world. With funding from The David & Lura Lovell Foundation, WMM partnered with ORS Impact to build a measurement and evaluation strategy, conducting a baseline assessment with over 150 members through surveys and focus groups. In late 2023, WMM commissioned ImpactMapper to conduct an inaugural Community Impact Survey assessing impact on members’ personal growth, philanthropic leadership, advocacy, and grantmaking.
