WINGS would like to invite you to the upcoming session, ‘Teaching Philanthropy: Global Perspectives and Innovation in Light of the Pandemic’.
The session is being organised as part of the WINGS Researchers, Academics, and Data Enthusiasts (RADE) working group. The group is lead by Michael Layton (Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy), Ingrid Srinath (Center for Social Impact and Philanthropy – Ashoka University) and Barbara Ibrahim (John D. Gerhart Center for Phil. and Civic Engagement).
The session will focus on teaching philanthropy from an academic perspective. It is targeted towards, but not limited to, the representatives of any university or institution that has a teaching programme.
The aim is to rethink our teaching approaches, both in terms of pedagogy (e.g. moving to online learning) and subject matter (e.g. has equity become a great focus).
The session will be moderated by Michael Layton and we are looking forward to it.
