Guide to Donor Funding to Networks
This guide is the product of a participatory, multi-phase research project that Collective Mind undertook from 2021-2023. The project engaged both networks and donors to better understand donor support to networks. The purpose of the project was to shed light on the “what”, “why”, and “how” of donor funding for networks. In so doing, it seeks to improve donors’ funding approaches with networks and to inform networks’ fundraising approaches. The guide is based on 18 in-depth case studies of donors and networks.
