Philanthropy with a gender perspective
This Manual was created within the framework of the regional project “Women, gender and philanthropy in Latin America and the Caribbean” developed by ELLAS—Mujeres y Filantropía, together with WINGS (Worldwide Initiative for GrantmakersSupport), Comunalia (Mexico) and Global Fund for Community Foundations (GFCF). It relies on the financial support of the Open Society Foundations. The project’s long-term goal “is to integrate the gender dimension in Latin American philanthropy to invest more and better resources in women’s rights in their communities.
